Questions: 1) If you examined the progress you’ve made over the last few years would you say that you’ve matured through obedience to God’s word? What evidence would there be to support your answer? 2) What are some of the benefits of living the obedient life? How does this help us from a motivational point of view? 3) If you desire to have an ‘established’ life in Jesus what is this going to entail? 4a) Who or what are the enemies of Jesus’ reign now and how are we to overcome them? 4b) How shrewd/ruthless are you being with your enemies? 5) In what ways does this passage get us ready for Jesus?
